Dede Efendi - Ferahfeza Ayin: 4. Selam, Son Peşrev, Son Semai

a new arrangement of the final section of the "Ferahfeza Mevlevi Ayini", known as the "Sema Ceremony" or "Whirling Dervishes Ritual".
Composed by the great Sufi Dede Efendi (1778–1846), the Mevlevi Ayini in Ferahfeza maqam is more than a musical form. It accompanies a ritual which symbolizes the journey of the soul towards love and the evolution of the human spirit.

Dördüncü Selam, Son Peşrev, and Son Semaî are the 3 last movements of the Sema Ceremony, which carry an even deeper meaning for us.
Victor’s evolving arrangement became a reflection of our musical journey and growing friendship; refined together, shaped in sound, and shared in spirit. It is a special experience to be part of this expression of unity, surrender, and transcendence through music.
