“4 Songs from the Amazon Forest”, is an original symphonic poem for soprano and orchestra, with a reduction by the composer for piano, and interestingly enough, there is a manuscript of the first song “Veleiros” written by Villa-Lobos for 2 guitars and soprano. In addition, in the third song “Canção do Amor”, the guitar is included in the final orchestration of the piece. Ultimately, all these elements indicate the composer’s own desire maybe to have his compositions performed on the guitar(s), and here is my arrangement of it
